I am Anna A Ros (pseudonym of Alice Verheij), born in The Hague in 1962 and living in Brittany since 2023 where I write, make music and build guitars. For more information, please visit www.atelierflorette.fr.

You may have read one of my previously published books. I have been writing novels since a holiday in Tuscany in 2007. Published are Eén latte, een cappuccino en een espresso (2010) and Headwind, Laxmi’s Story (2012). In addition, the play A Family Affair (2007), the photobook Unforgotten  (2012), the poetry bundles OVERLEVEN uit (2017) and Uit mijn tent gelokt (2019), the historical novel Surrogaat (2018), the short stories Kort An (2019) and my essays Ant-ologie (2021). In 2024, my English-language editions appeared The Voynich Affair (translation of Een horzel steekt niet) and Ant(h)ology (translation of Ant-ologie)
